Active Church Participation: What Will It Take To Get God’s People Involved In His Work? by Rev. Juan M. Pérez.
“Your participation matters not just for your spiritual growth but for the vitality of your church, the transformation of your community, and the advancement of God’s kingdom.”
In this small book, Rev. Juan M. Pérez looks honestly at why many believers struggle to engage fully in the life of the church: the busyness of modern life, misaligned priorities, a sense of inadequacy or fear, a lack of clear vision, past hurts, and spiritual stagnation. These struggles are real and significant, but they are not insurmountable.
Chapter by chapter, he shows why your involvement matters, what keeps believers from engaging, a biblical roadmap for overcoming those obstacles, a healthy dose of “selfishness” (what’s in it for me?), and the vital role of church leadership in fostering a culture of commitment. Along the way are practical insights and inspiration to help believers break free from the barriers that hinder their engagement and experience the joy and fulfillment of a fully committed life in the body of Christ.
